Watched the promotional video. This could be a big hit like Castle Ravenloft and almost as modifiable.

I've got to say, that game seems cool as hell.

I agree. But I think this is aimed at a younger crowd, so kids can play it with other kids.

This looks really fun. I love the rotating DM mechanic.

Ageist  !

I agree though :( .
But looking at the quality of the components (no 'bubblegame' miniatures comment yet ) it should have a pretty family/kid-friendly price on it - I do like the Hero card-holders though, very nifty (a bit like the old Space Crusade commander scanners).

I just pre-ordered this on Amazon. I think it will be a good gateway drug for RPGs for the kids.

It's only $25 on Amazon, which makes it way way more of a tempting proposition.

I know everyone loves Heroquest, but does anyone else remember Dragon Strike? And its video?

Huh, so each character pair are basically siblings? We were just talking about whether or not that was a good idea in the Runebound thread and BAM, WOTC solves it by having a personality card independent of character gender (though with a dwarf, does it matter/can anyone tell?? :) Well done!

It is an interesting evolution of the free exploration of the DnDAS mixed with a more traditional Talisman like adventure game, just co-op. I wonder how they incentivize the party splitting up instead of just moving en-bloc, even to the side spaces. Perhaps some missions have a countdown timer or something.

This looks to have more reading than my boy can handle ATM but I'm sure I can just play the DM straight through. It would be nice to have minis for the big bads but this should keep expansions down to a very low price (just some cards and game boards probably, maybe a new hero).

This sort of "on rails" adventure with minimalistic combat also seems like it could be big for the streamer crowd as one-off sessions, depending on how much improv acti...err I mean role playing can be squeezed in.
