Hans im Gluk has trademarked Meeple and sent their first C&D

BGI is "Board Games Insider," a podcast started by Ignacy T. from Portal Games and Steven Buonocore, formally of Stronghold Games, with a more industry focus (not just hyping the next new game). Steven clearly got rich from publishing Terraforming Mars and then selling his company. I first heard of Corey Thompson when he took over the Dice Tower News podcast, but he had been doing other things with DT prior. He then got added to BGI semi-regularly as Ignacy pulled back from the podcast until he became permanent. I only know he's rich because he apparently has a very nice house in the Napa area, travels extensively, and clearly is no longer working a real job. I knew he was a veterinarian by trade, which usually doesn't make you rich, so it's interesting that real estate is how he managed financial independence.

My doctor sold his “network” of practices that he had built up a few years back to another “network” and retired. He then decided to take up real estate, because he said he really enjoyed doing all the research and business dealings that were involved with expanding his practice, and medicine wasn’t as interesting to him, any more.

I really wish I liked investing and dealing with money, as I'd probably have a good shot at already being retired myself. But I find all of it terribly dull and tedious. So I'm stuck working the 9 to 6.

Anyhow, I should really get ahead of things and go trademark "Ameritrash" so I can send C&Ds to basically no one.
