The digital version is due next year.

This. I love tokens and minis and weird dice and whatnot, but don't tell me that the only thing that saves me from a ridiculous setup time is shelling out more $ on a way to store the game. If that's the case, then you have FFG Token Frenzy™ run amok. I even get spending for a storage solution after picking up three or four expansions for a game over some time, but needing it to even get the game to the table in a reasonable amount of time means there's something wrong, IMO.

"Neat...44 reviews, 4.5 star average, lots of compartments that probably smell like a forest fire...HOLY SHIT, NINETY-NINE US DOLLARS??"
Shadows of Brimstone is in the same category as Gloomhaven when it comes to a table full of component vomit, and I've played SoB a LOT since I've gotten it, but I refuse to pay out the nose for storage solutions.
My rule of thumb is that if I can't build a storage solution cheaply or make do with thrift store tackle box organizers, I don't bother.

Good catch. This is pretty underrated, IMO. It's a really good AT game.
I haven't acquired a copy yet, and may need to use this opportunity to do so.

There's a group that I don't really attend where the alpha leader buys the most themeless Euros imaginable and then buys all of the custom wooden laser cut organizers for them. It's not like I don't waste money on stuff, but...

There's an adage I learned just last year that I think applies. "There are two kinds of tools: the kind that hurts when you pay for it, and the kind that hurts every time you use it."
Obviously, for anyone who pulls out Gloomhaven on occasion, spending money on an organizational insert would be wasteful. But for the player who sets it up several times a week or month, that convenience pays for itself pretty quickly.
I've always been one of those people who oohed and aahed over a well-designed box insert, both from the game publisher and from third-party sources. I picked up the Broken Token insert for Scythe, and it's a joy to play with. The "insert" that Gloomhaven comes with is ideal for shipping the pieces, but laughable for storing or aiding in set-up. I don't play it often enough to justify an insert, but I certainly wouldn't begrudge anyone who bought one.

Zimby Mojo is also on the list for $18. I grabbed one at that price.
