Yep, this popped up a few times earlier in the year as one main designer was let go and big hints dropped.
Hope the remaining design people get picked up.

I checked the interwebs to see who they were. I've never played a single game from this company.

I enjoyed ESCAPE FROM 100 MILLION BC and MACHI KORO, though neither of these games has hit the table in quite a while.

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Shadows of the Past by Kevin Wilson (ex-FFG, quite a few games) was one I had and was pretty good, they just missed the pacing of it so that the first half went to quick and then depending on how you managed the first half the second half could be too hard or easy.

They published, or co-published actually quite a few underrated games:

TMNT: Shadows of the Past
The sequels, TMNT Adventures (two titles)
Escape From 100 Million B.C.
Fire & Axe reprint
Godfather: A New Don
Machi Koro
Rayguns and Rocketships
Tammany Hall reprint

Not to take away from the fact that they put out a ton of junk too, much more so than quality stuff.

They put out two of the worst games in the past 20 years, Centipede and Missile Command.

They also did V Wars, which is a mash of DOAM and BSG (traitor mechanic). I decided to pimp the player character pieces with miniatures from Hero Forge.

Yeah VWars isn't bad. Kind of wonky at times if I remember correctly but some neat ideas.

I like it, but I agree, it had a lot of things to keep track of that slowed the game down.

CMON has picked up the rights to produce the MGS board game IDW had in the pipeline: preorder.cmon.com/metal-gear-solid . Between this and the Playstation announcements, yesterday was an exciting day for MGS fans!

Someone producing a fan expansion for TMNT also just got hit with a C&D; it could be coincidence but I wonder if CMON is picking up all of the rights to IDW's games.

That's interesting. I can't imagine them doing a third TMNT edition, but who knows.
