I have a pile of books I WANT to read and can't get myself to do so. I'm not a fan of experiencing garbage media for lulz. I haven't seen enough good movies to justify purposely seeing a shitty one.

I guess with a son who likes the book, and reading it myself, I'm pot committed so hope the film is good. Hard to tell from the quotes above if Spielberg actually put depth in it. Too many mentions of 'all the references' for me to have faith it raises above the source.
