Don't Look Back miniatures game was created by hotseatgames
My friend went crazy and bought a shit ton of models and terrain for Don't Look Back, which is basically what if Camp Grizzly was a full-on miniatures game?
The MDF terrain he got includes lots of camp cabins, a rack that holds canoes, a wishing well, and even a two story lodge. It's really cool stuff, and as you'd expect, the roof sections come off to expose the insides of the buildings. Inside are bunk beds, etc.
Scenarios have various objectives. There are many ways to play, but we did two scenarios that don't connect and have no bearing on each other. In the first, the four survivors had to make it diagonally across the map (a 3' x 3' square) to the road, to safety. They knew they were being stalked by something, but not what it was....
Turns out it was "Grayson" who has a lot of similarity to one Jason Vorhees. The killer can generally warp around the map based on survivor movements and dice rolls, so while the survivors can have some idea what areas are safe for them, they can never be too certain. You have to throw out logic when playing, as it is entirely possible for the killer to pop up across the map in an instant. This is just part of the fun.
I was controlling the Park Ranger, armed with a pistol. Unfortunately, injuring the killer is not only difficult but largely a waste of time due to the limited rounds you have to achieve the objective and how hardy the killer is. The ranger did do a small amount of damage, but ultimately fell victim to several stab wounds. The sacrifice was not in vain, as one of the survivors did make it the road for an instant victory.
Scenario 2 requires the survivors to spread out across the map to investigate up to 6 different locations, looking for a survivor who has gone missing. With the time given, it is practically an impossible task if the survivor is on the opposite corner of the map. Luckily they were not, and 3 of the 4 survivors managed to make it to safety again. Unfortunately "Wheels", who happens to be in a wheelchair, was mauled by the "Beast" or something, basically a Big Foot type creature.
The game is neat, a bit janky, but a good time.

Me being me, you tell me there's a game called Don't Look Back and I'm immediately going to think of Orpheus and Eurydice (or maybe Lot's wife) but I'm not sure how either of those situations would make a good game, so this is probably a better use of the title.

I've been playing this a lot solo. Wounding the killer enough to get him off the board for a turn does give everyone an extra action the following turn, so can pay off. The game is indeed Janky, but needs to be played as a story teller, rather than a how do I solve this puzzle.
I like how the actions work (two quick or one quick followed by a long), I like the light mechanism. The fright tokens and jump scares tend to screw me over, I have thought about house ruling that each jump scare area terrian only cause one jump scare a turn or maybe even a game. I do feel like the killer's attacks are too strong, but that might just be my shitty dice rolls.
Have you tried Violent Dark? It is made by the same designer, but is a sci-fi horror type game.
