And, wow, hidden gems was right. Got that copy of Magical Athlete from them. It was, quite literally, NiS. As in the shrinkwrap on it was from Z-Man. It's unpunched. Never been opened until I did it today. Crazy.

Episode 2, on King of Tokyo, is now out. I don't want to oversell it, but I think it might be humanity's greatest achievement yet.

Tell me about it - I've gotten GamesfromtheCellar.com 's SEO up so that at least the website shows up in Google and other search engines - but we've been having a crazy time with the podcast discovery. Care to set up a Rate & Review trade? I've already dropped you guys a follow and 5 stars on Spotify, but I can make sure the rest of the Games from the Cellar crew does the same.

Enjoyed the 2 eps out so far. If you guys haven't already mapped out the games you intend to cover for the foreseeable future, can I suggest Power Grid? I'm sure it was already on the list and you were just warming up to it with that lightweight Agricola

We already have our whole first season recorded so we are on hiatus right now. Not to spoil what we will cover but Power Grid isn’t on there. But it’s a personal favorite of mine so I’d love to cover it!

I am no longer a podcast listener (I live close to work now! no commute! woo!) but will have to try and check this out to try and support this somehow.

The last 12 months or so have been really interesting in this little area I think. You guys are far from the only ones doing crate digging on older games. Over at the other site there's a sizeable community of people in a guild talking (and playing) older "German style" games (and their modern incarnations). The guy who founded the guild makes videos highlighting older games. THere's at least one other podcast I've seen in this kind of vein launched recently And I think another too.

I dunno, I just think it's interesting. A little pushback against the cult of the new. Hey, great games exist and are out there waiting to be played. Nice to see.

Latest episode is up now on Pandemic. These will all eventually appear as a cast on this site as well.
