Seriously, I never need to buy another game again; and I would still never play out everything I have before I die if I stopped.
But - oh, look! - So-and-So made this seem exactly like a game I would love!

Someone asked if I would take their Horrified for my Thunder Road Maximum Chrome, which I don’t have listed as for trade.

Heroscape is back and I cashed out....to the tune of $2017.00. About $1500 profit in 10 transactions.
Only had to sit on it for 15 years LOL
I hope this doesn't become like The Adventurers, where I lament selling it and can't ever get back what I had for what I sold it for.

I decided to do a purge recently. There were games that were just never going to come off the shelves anymore. I don't need the space and I don't need the money, but it was just time to move them on rather than having them sit around. So I did one direct trade and then a few sales. The trade was:
Peacemakers: Horrors of War for Cuba Libre.
The former had just come in on the Gamefound tides a few months ago and I was fascinated by the concept: a wargame about stopping war. It's a co-op, which have to meet a high bar around here, as I'm not especially fond of that style, but I still wanted to see how this whole concept worked. Unfortunately, it didn't. Not only did it turn out to be very mechanical (assessing the situation and then simply solving it by optimal card play) but all three games we played left everyone feeling zo unzatisfied (/Teddy KGB.) It wasn't just the mechanical gameplay. It was also the lack of theme, since the best way to advance toward your goal was often by letting the two armies you were trying to make peace between kill each other to almost the last man. Plus, the replayability seemed kinda poor, since once you'd played through the few scenarios provided, the suggestion to play them again was to meet this or that goal (e.g. win with zero casualties!) So, I decided to add to my COIN collection and replace a game about making peace with one about the Cuban revolution.
Then I handed off my copy of Hannibal: Rome vs Carthage to our own San il Defanso and my copies of Jaws and Summoner Wars to a couple friends. I bounced hard off the latter, but love the previous two. They still weren't going to compete with what's been on the table recently. The rest:
Twilight Inscription, In the Year of the Dragon, Time of Crisis, Ancient Civilizations of the Inner Sea, Ideology, Alhambra: the card game, Godsforge (with both expansions), Monolith, Vampire: Rivals, Supremacy (with multiple expansions), Samurai Swords, The Mirroring of Mary King, Illuminati, Witch Trial, One False Step for Mankind, Neuroshima Convoy, Tiny Epic Galaxies w/expansion, Tiny Epic Pirates w/expansion, Tiny Epic Vikings w/expansion, Tiny Epic Defenders w/expansion, Cold War: CIA vs KGB, Crazy Karts, Rush n' Crush, Alien Artifacts w/expansion, Zimby Mojo, Cosmic Frog, Remnants, Warhammer Diskwars w/both expansions, Ultimate Warriorz, Assault of the Giants, Hellenes: Campaigns of the Peloponnesian War, Richard III, Hammer of the Scots, Shenandoah: Jackson's Valley Campaign, Angola!, Warriors of Japan, Britannia (AH version), Paths of Glory, Arcane Academy, Rear Window, Libertalia: Winds of Galecrest.
went to Noble Knight for a bundle of cash. I liked or really liked most of those but, again, no sense in them sitting around unplayed when someone else could be getting some use from them.
