How To Remove "Frost" From Models Sprayed With Matte was created by SuperflyPete
I wrote up a little tutorial because I made this beautiful terrain piece that took 2 weeks or so to create, and I fucked it all up by being impatient.
It's fixed now, and I realized that the cure may not be common knowledge:

Here's some pics of the finished scenery, if you're interested:

The best sealants I've found are polyurethane-based. I absolutely swear by Army Painter Quickshade for minis.

I prefer the Coat d'Arms super shader, which is the same thing but isn't so much of a pain in the ass. You still have to Dullcote the PU material to get rid of the shine.
Army Painter Quickshade is fine if you're whipping through a bunch of miniatures but for making them really shine I think it's better to do the shading by hand and seal with clearcoat.

Nice how-to. I am a big fan of Future floor polish. If I am painting a plastic model with auto lacquer, I will coat it with Future after polishing it instead of a lacquer gloss. It also works fantastic to fix scratched and, sometimes, crazed clear plastic parts.
