Laminating Folded Maps?

Laminating Folded Maps? was created by Mr. White
So, I scored a copy of Link to the Past with manual and map at a _great_ price. All are in fantastic condition, but still I'm concerned a twenty year-old, folded paper map may not hold together so well in a 6 year old's hands.
Any suggestion on how to laminate this thing while still enabling it to be folded? I don't want to turn it into a rolled up deal if I can help it.

I'd cut it into four pieces and have them all laminated individually. Then use clear packing tape on each, linking it to another piece. This can then be folded two ways down to 1/4 the open size. Just remember to leave 1/16" or so between the sheets so the tape can flex and not tear.

Find an old Quad-fold gameboard (Clue, Monopoly, Old Avalon Hill titles) and spray adhesive the thing to the board.

Guys, this is for a video game. He doesn't want it mounted on a game board. I suggest printing out a copy of the map, use it, and keep the original pristine.

Ultrapro makes large Format top loaders that should work. Look under the sports section. I picked up a couple a few years back and they weren't too expensive if I remember correctly.

Hmmm, works for me in chrome. Go to ultrapro, sports, toploaders, specialty sizes, and root around.
