Rogue Angel books? was created by ChristopherMD
by Alex Archer. Anyone read this series at all? I was recommended them and plan to at least check out the first book. They seem like a cross between Tomb Raider and Witchblade.

Based on your incredible endorsement above I'm downloading the audio version of the first one now. Fiction usually doesn't hold me anymore, but let's see how this one fares.

I read half of the first one and gave it away. "A cross between the novelizations of the Tomb Raider movie and the Witchblade made-for-TV movie" is more accurate.

I took a sneak listen at one of the audio files and I'm concerned I may wreck my car. It sounds manic as hell. I'm more of a brooding fan so this may not be a good match for me.

I've finished the first disk (of 6) and the story is moving along nicely. A strong female character is refreshing. I'll likely listen to the rest in the next week or so.
