Thanks! Had some question about how technical to get, but I think this game basically demand explanation for people to have a grasp of whether they might like it (beyond "trick-taking.") I appreciated Dan Thurot's perspective but I thought I'd be a little more old-fashioned.

Oh, man. You're right, Charlie. Sorry. You and Dan are the only two regular reviewers I read and I did misremember that. So, OK: "I appreciated your perspective, but I thought I'd be a little more old-fashioned."
Am assuming you're still playing (as regularly as you can, with your schedule)? Are we on the same page re: number of players? It was such a transformation when I got some games in that increased the player count.

No worries at all on the confusion. Always happen to be confused with Dan.
Yeah this is still hitting the table. I would agree that it's better with more players, although I actually have enjoyed it with three as well.
It's by far my favorite Trick Taker. Totally glad to see you giving it some more spotlight.
