I agree that in Buffy the map is a vital and interesting aspect of the game.

In one of our most memorable games, the baddies pinned Buffy down so she couldn’t move. However, they pinned her the supply closet, giving her an infinite supply of weapons. Some people might have found the resulting end game repetitive and predictable, but we found it hysterical.

My most memorable game of Buffy involved a reluctant eurogamer who was playing Oz. IIRC the Willow player got ahold of a spell that could manipulate the moon track, and Oz went on an impressive rampage and killed the big bad. Buffy died early on.

This year's list of games requested to make the trip to the shore --

• Deep Rock Galactic
• Thunder Road
• Buffy
• 1754
• Shaman
• Maria
• Camel Up
• Adventure Tactics
• Terrorscape
• Crokinole
• Wings for the Baron
• Twilight Struggle
• Game of Thrones
• Greater East Asian Co-Prosperity Sphere (obviously)
• Escape from Hades
• Codenames
• Winners Circle
• Unmatched
• Android Netrunner
• Dick
• First in Flight
• Shadows Over Camelot
• Acquire
• Lords of Vegas

I'd like to get in on the Lords of Vegas game, and I think we're going to put the Up expansion into play this time. Always a good game. I also am looking forward to getting another shot at Deep Rock Galactic, which was a blast the last time we played.

Wow, AI in action?!? This is what my company's CEO, and it seems every other, is saying the way of the future...

I didn't click that link, and I'd recommend others not, as well...

And will there be a report forthcoming? Been casually waiting for you guys to get back to GftC, too, if it's still a thing.

You'll have to ask Sag, I was only able to attend two of the four days.

And GftC will return. We have a couple episodes recorded (one with special guest David Townsend!). There have been some life changes that we are navigating to get back to a regular & consistent schedule.
