Totally appreciate the Varys pun. Conleth Hill's performance in the series will forever remain a highlight.
Definitely agree about the visual impairment issues. Apparently, the original KS had an option to make those parts into minis that would be easier to see, but I have the bog standard retail version like you do. Traded Dune: Imperium for it and have not regretted it. It hits that sweet spot between aggressive DoaM and thoughtful Euro that a number of my non-wargamer players appreciate.

I have the original KS stuff, including those additional minis, which I got for the very reason indicated here. This one might be worth pulling out again; it's been a while.
