There Will Be Games

Some games just exceed expectation!

In this video, Board Game Inquisition reviews what we feel are the five most important aspects of the board game Time of Legends: Joan of Arc published by Mythic Games and designed by Pascal Bernard. We discuss the topic of the game, the mechanics it uses, what the game is like on the table, how it looks and feels and of course it's pros and cons. Overall, Time of Legends: Joan of Arc is a beast of a game but in all the right ways!

Thanks for this review.

I pledged and then canceled last year, but thinking about it again.

The cost is high and there is a lot of uncertainty around rules clarity and scenarios.
But the toys! And the theme appeals.

It's so expensive that you have to be sure it's the type of game you're going to really enjoy and play a lot of. And while I didn't have any issues with the rules or scenarios I can see why somebody might. In my mind, it's all part and parcel of playing wargames I suppose! The Pledge manager is still open at the moment I believe (yes I'm an idiot and went and bought all the bits I'd missed) if you want to taunt yourself and your wallet :P
