FAT Twilight Struggle ACTS tournament?

I think the deluxe edition is pretty balanced. If there aren't that many entrants, then it makes sense to play each side against every opponent.

How much longer do we want to wait for other takers before launching this sucker?

I got out a die and rolled up some initial match ups;

MattDP vs Flim_Flam

DukeofChutney vs KingPut

Space Ghost vs San Il Defanso

although every player will play every other player once, so this is list is just to provide impetus, you can play any of the above players you want, and will have to play them all eventually.

Roll off (using acts possibly) for Soviet or US sides then play. When your done post the result here and collar another entrant.

Unless we get lots of draws most wins will win. If there are two tied with most wins, they will play a decider.

And the winner will be crowned HE WHO IS TRULY MASTER HERE.

So if I understand correctly, the plan is for every player to play each other once using a random side, so we play five games each?

Most wins is declared overall king of the universe, yes?

Works for me. One small point is that you have to choose sides before you can roll dice in ACTS, so I suggest moderator (which I assumed is the Duke) randomly assigns sides.
