Played this a month or two ago with a friend whilst I was in CT. It's really dry, kind of hard to understand, and really requires a "brain burner" approach. The only reason I'm mentioning it is that I keep thinking about it. It is so fucking brutal. The premise of the game is basically try to build up your defenses against five types of apocalyptic events as quickly as possible, knowing they will come but not knowing the order (protip: You can't stop them all). It's not a matter of building a great civilization, it's about not becoming a legend. B-R-U-T-A-L.

I liked it OK, but didn't love it. I'd never buy it, I don't think. BUT....I've never played anything quite like it.
