I liked this one. It was an interesting mix of things; not only game genres, but things with and without expansions or versions or types of games (the complaint about never having gotten C&C Ancients on the table because it was only 2-player, etc.) It was a broader conversation but also wasn't as trite as the typical Top Ten listicle because the list was so varied.

We're a pretty varied group so it was a real mix of games to talk about. What I found remarkable is how often someone said "I'm in" for a title that was out of their genre. We all need to offer more beyond our preconceived notions of who will want to play what.

As for that other stuff . . . yeah. We talk about that kind of thing a lot. We need to get more of that into the recording. I'll mention it to the boss.

I definitely appreciate that kind of interplay among the hosts. You guys are all experienced gamers and talking about that wider scope stuff is something that piques my interest more than just the straight reviews of the game you just played. There's nothing wrong with the latter, of course, but this episode seemed more like the stuff that often creates good threads here.
