(not!)
I even hate posting this because it's terribleness will likely propel it to Rebecca Black level of heights, yet here I am...
So, the end of western civilization?

That's no worse than all the other middling rap garbage.

I will not bash the song but I will say I am amazed that electronic music is finding such a big audience. There was a period in the 80's when I was playing guitar and keyboard was all the rage and then keyboards hit the wall and guitars were back.
It seems this electronic and computer generated cycle has lasted a little long. However, I do not see all hope lost. I see a lot of youth on Youtube listening to Bigband music and old rock and roll and there comments are always the same, "I love this music and think I was born in the wrong generation"

People will say "Bob Dylan has done rap, just listen to Subterranean Homesick Blues" but it's not rap. It's closer to Woody Guthries old talking blues style, which is more country then blues really. But who cares right? Bob has said several times that the real poets today are working in Rap, he respects it.
Now, I like Bob Dylan. I love Slow Train Coming and a few other albums. But I love rap too.
This is just a kid, that's all it is. It is not a reflection on modern music or on rap, it's more proof, like anyone needed it, that kids should mature out of the limelight and wait until their older before releasing material. If he wasn't Bob's kid no one would care and that's how it should be.
Will he be good when he's matured. Who knows. Fact is he isn't now.
It reminds me of that young girl with the opreatic voice that's been on Oprah and shit recently. If she was a 20 something graduate of an opera performance university degree no one would care. They care because she is a kid. She should not be on T.V. yet, she's too young. If people still care when she's 25 then fine but at 12... Jesus Christ man! Keep her out of the media.
They care because she's a kid, or they care because it's Bob's kid. Same thing, same garbage. Keep them off the air until they are older and have something to offer.
This particualr track... really bad, regardless of it's genre.
